  1. In my opinion I think this was a great picture to start your painting but I think you need more shading on the face and also different color in the hand. I like how you paint the eyes but you need more color in the rest of the eyes.

  2. First of all, the picture you used is a bit freaky in the first place. Disregarding that comment, you did a very nice job. I would've like to see more color. Especially on the nails, it's just so neutral, but hey, that's just me. Nice work on the eyes, and well the rest of the face. Would've liked to see more shading, to give it some depth. Another thing I noticed, you seem to have forgotten her teeth! Or she just doesn't have any. I know you can't see them in the original picture. So what you could've done is make the gap a bit smaller OR make teeth of your own. It's still a job well done! Keep up the good work hombre.

  3. Just like me, you’re a true beginner with this project. I can tell you didn't just trace or use one of the filter options. I can tell you did every single step/layer from scratch and worked hard. I think you could have extended the nose longer so it's in between the eyes and maybe you could have had the eyes drawn a little closer together. Also, I think you chose to stick with neutral, plain colors, but on the original image the lady has a tan/orangey skin tone with different shades and highlights. To get the colors somewhat like the ones seen on the original image, I suggest the eyedropper tool(just click on the icon that looks like a dropper and then click on a part of the image and it will automatically save the color from that piece of the image into your foreground color ready to use). Overall, it's not bad at all for a beginner, great effort!

  4. In my opinion the second picture is ok, but you need to add more details to it. I think you should add more shading. Then on the face you could use different kind of brushes and colors to make it look like the original image. One think I like about it is that you put details on the figures. For the hair you should use a brush that looks like grass. Overall, you should practice on your shading.
